Pollution, the destruction of habitats, even the extinction of whole species are no new phenomena. What is new, is the reach and the permanence of the changes, humans inflict on the environment today. Just the food production for an ever growing global population alone consumes more and more formerly prestine landscapes. Toxic waste from industrial production processes pollutes ecosystems beyond anything, that has been seen before.

At the same time, the knowledge and the accessibility of knowledge for a wide range of people, increased tremendously. The effects of the CO2-emissions of the industrialized countries or the images of logging operations in the last remaining rain forests to grow oil palms for so called biofuels are no long covert, but public to everyone and show us the consequences of our actions.

As Environmentalists, we are native to both, material and virtual networks and use those networks, to raise knowledge and awareness for urgent environmental issues. We are looking for local initiatives, projects and sanctuaries, directly working for the protection of endangered species and their habitats and support their work through awareness campaigns and donations. To create effective and sustainable solutions, we are always addressing all relevant actors and try to bring them to the table, for the preservation of our world's biological diversity!
